Sam's Tesla Roadster was his daily. Being the first emotional cleantech product known to us, the car provoked thought. What if we electrified a much better sports car to become a truly inspiring daily? We took the 997 Carrera S as a base and went from there with a one-off proof of concept approach.
What began in 2018 became a road-legal 997 in 2019. The focus was on engineering and innovation. Today, this 997 still drives through the streets of Munich, Germany. A testament to timeless design powered by modern technology.
The car’s weight and balance remain close to the original, preserving its driving dynamics. Paired with a 400V, 225 kW electric drivetrain, acceleration is on par with the original Carrera S. A 40 kWh battery delivers a real-world range of 200–250 kilometers. Charging options include CCS DC fast charging (up to 100 kW) and Type 2 AC charging (22 kW).

With a 58 kWh battery, the real-world range extends to approximately 300 kilometers.
